No Workplace is Safe When TLC Premieres THE SINGING OFFICE

Hosts Mel B. and Joey Fatone get to work starting on June 29 at 9 PM

LOS ANGELES, June 4 -- TLC offers the most unique way to
get to know your co-workers when hosts Joey Fatone (*NSYNC) and Mel B.
(Spice Girls) search for singers in the least likely of places -- the
workplace! THE SINGING OFFICE goes searching for America's most surprising
talent when it premieres Sunday, June 29 at 9 PM ET/PT.

Each week, Joey and Mel will ambush an office, hold an impromptu
audition in front of the employee's co-workers and recruit a team of the
five best singers. Then, it's off to boot camp where Mel and Joey help
their teams prepare for their time in the spotlight by coaching them on
both their performance and their vocals. Following boot camp, it's time to
shine when the teams head to the stage for a choreographed sing-off to earn
a spot in the finale and a chance to win the grand prize -- $50,000.

"It's been great getting people to show off their singing talents and
giving them a chance to live out their dreams on stage. You can tell
they're loving this unexpected opportunity," said Joey. Added Mel, "It's
been a blast -- we have found some amazing singers right there on the job.
I think we've uncovered some real talent and it's been amazing giving
everyday people a chance of a lifetime!"

THE OFFICES

In each hour-long episode, TLC follows as Mel and Joey each surprise a
workplace with the goal of putting together a five-person team to learn a
singing routine, complete with dance moves and costumes. Then it's Joey's
office vs. Mel's office for a chance to compete in the finale. Each of the
one-on-one competitions is judged by the studio audience; the finale,
between the eight winning teams, is judged by renowned chart-topping
singers Taylor Dayne and Jon Secada, and award-winning choreographer Travis
Payne.

"THE SINGING OFFICE is an exciting adventure for these workplaces, and
for the viewers. It's all about bringing coworkers together in ways that
work can never do. Imagine the boss singing and dancing with the
receptionist, or the delivery driver hitting high notes with the COO,"
explained Brent Zacky, VP of Programming at TLC. "We think this series will
make people think twice about the individuals they work with -- do you
really know what hidden talents are in your office?"

THE SINGING OFFICE is produced by Scott Sternberg Productions;
executive producer is Scott Sternberg, producers Joey Fatone, Joe
Mulvihill, Melanie Brown and Stephen Belafonte.
